Marées is the second piece of a cycle of four pieces inspired by the elements (water, earth, fire, air). It evokes water’s sensuous, everchanging and reflective nature. It initially plunges into the abysmal womb, source of infinite potential, from which emerge the main motives which shape and shift through the various succeeding moments, before ultimately arriving at its final luminous rest.
